Sooner Recon was started by brothers Quentin and Michael Franklin in 2007. Merging their mother's eye for design and greenthumb talents with their father's master carpentry skills, the boys have been transforming boring backyards into beautiful living spaces for years.
Quentin worked his way through college at the University of Oklahoma building decks, arbors, gazebos, and miscellaneous construction jobs. Quentin graduated in 2006 and moved to Tulsa for law school. Halfway through his first year, Quentin decided to trade in his law books for powertools in order to pursue his passion for designing and constructing decks, arbors, and outdoor kitchens.
Michael is a licensed electrician and was working for a successful company in Houston when he made the decision to serve our country by joining the Marines. Michael graduated from Marine Corps bootcamp in January 2008. Semper Fi. |
